FAQ

Questions to Ask Your Videographer

Are there any other pros in the area you love to work with?

We work with several photographers and videographers in our area.

Do you bring backup equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

We have 2-3 cameras rolling at all times, and 3 audio sources (3 from cameras and 2 dedicated audio devices). We have several spare batteries and SD cards as well in case any of those fail.

Do you have lighting equipment to accommodate a more dimly-lit event?

We are low-profile videographers, and do our best to not stand out at your event with large equipment and lighting. Our cameras and lenses allow us to capture events in less than optimal lighting situations. See our videos for examples.

Do you mic the groom?

Yes, we have a small lavaliere mic that we pin to the groom’s lapel (or shirt) that allows us to capture the audio from your ceremony with crystal-clear quality.

Have you shot my ceremony or reception venue before?

Most videographers know how to find the lighting and angles in a given room, but if we had a client at your venue before, it will come very naturally.

How does your pricing work?

We typically charge a flat rate based on an amount of time. We have others packages that also include additional time, 2nd videographer, engagement session and aerial footage.

How far do you travel?

We’ll go pretty much anywhere if the price is right. Most of our weddings are in the Atlanta, Macon or Athens area. We do charge travel fees for weddings being held more than 50 miles from Atlanta.

How long have you been filming weddings? And how many do you do per year?

We have been in the wedding business since 2003. On average we do 25+ weddings per year. Our busy season is March to October. Most of our bride’s book anywhere from 6 months to 2 years before their special day.
